Heard of mosquito coils, mosquito nets, mosquito mats etc? Amused at the term mosquito repellent software? I have probably written thousands of lines of code over the last couple of years, but seriously a software for keeping mosquitoes out of the door was new one! Thinking I could go to mom and tell her "See mom, I have a mosquito repellent software which you can run on our home computer!! You only have to click this icon, just like opening internet explorer!"
As a matter of fact such a software does exist. It makes your PC produce a frequency of sound that is effective in driving mosquitoes away. Of course, you will have to check the configuration of the speakers you use, ie if it can actually emit sounds of such frequency.
Check out google for some of the interesting links on this one. Maybe you wil hit upon one that says, shoo mosquitoes from your mobile! :)
